700-Series [Model/Name] Shinkansen 700-Series


700-Series was developed in 1999 by JR-Tokai and JR-West together,as a revised version of 300-Series. This new 700-Series was a combination of 300X(a low-noise and high-speed test train) and 500-Series(then the world fastest train running at the maximum speed of 300km/h. This 700-Series has high scores of evaluation due to improved comfortably and environment-friendly care taken in terms of noise and vibration.
