Model EF58 [Model/Name] Model EF58

This is a post-war passenger train locomotive that is now used on seasonal trains. The train was taken out of service in 1985, but put back into service in 1987. The train's heating system was never upgraded from SG to EG, so when the locomotive is used to pull older model passenger trains such as the MAITE 49, the locomotive also serves as a heat source for passenger cabin heating.
